Starting salary £20,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits
(Potential to negotiate for candidates with substantial proven experience, transferring from other studios)
Full time 5 days per week (Sunday to Thursday)

Overview of the role:
Once fully trained, you will be taking portraits of a wide range of families and age groups from babies to grandparents and often also including the family pet! The aim is to give the customer an exceptional, fun, and memorable experience with an outstanding ‘high end’ customer service from start to finish; delivering high-quality photography, products, and aftercare, in equal measure.
This is a fantastic career opportunity for an exceptional candidate, to learn and develop in the ‘quality’ portrait photography industry, with our leading studio . . being highly creative and equally integral/immersed into other areas of the business as a whole – no two days will be the same! – as when you’re not conducting portrait shoots, you’ll always be busy in this fast paced environment with additional responsibilities and tasks such as:-
Viewings (sales) – where you will personally showcase and sell the framed products to suit each customer’s home, style, and budget.
Editing images (post production) using Capture Software / Adobe Photoshop
Marketing events and promotions (on location).
General customer service, both face to face and over the phone.
Quality checking / finishing / handling deliveries.
Miscellaneous tasks such as maintaining / painting the studio, assisting setting up promotions and displays.
We are looking for someone very special, who is prepared to prove themselves, with a can-do attitude, to do whatever it takes to succeed. For the right candidate, this role has plenty of potential to develop within our growing business.
The Ideal Candidate:
Possess excellent interpersonal skills – Must have a contagious, extremely friendly, confident and welcoming personality.
Highly creative with a good technical understanding of studio flash, lighting techniques, and flattering posing.
Good understanding and demonstrable skills with Adobe Photoshop.
Well presented, highly motivated, target driven and have the potential to be good at ‘Viewings’ (sales) with the right training, provided by us.
Hard-working, dedicated, ‘can do attitude’ and have determination and self-motivation to learn in abundance.
Good level of fitness – as there is a lot of running around the studio in order to make kids laugh and get the best shots!
Qualified to a diploma or degree level in Photography, Art or Design.
A demonstratable portfolio showing previous experience with portraiture (preferably studio-based) that either show this or shows the potential (good eye, composition, creative flair, technical skills)
Excellent attention to detail.
Must live locally (Leeds/Bradford/Aire Valley area) or within approx. 40 minutes commute to our studio (and preferably be a car owner).
Must have had actual working environment experience communicating with customers in retail, sales or customer service, with face to face or phone based roles.
Preferably also had previous experience in a commercial portrait studio based environment outside of your time in higher education.
