We love our pets, and they love us back.
We also love to show off their characters and personalities and capturing this in a fantastic portrait is the best way to do that.
Dog photography is hugely popular at the moment, and is also so much fun, with an almost limitless variety of results ranging from the crazy and hilarious, to sentimental and moving.
Dog photography might be what immediately springs to mind, but we’ve had parrots, chickens, ducks, lizards, tortoises, rabbits and even a snake named Sam photographed in our studio.
Just like with families or kids, it’s great to show off our pets’ individuality and identity with any belongings or toys they might have. So for Buster’s dog portrait, bring along his neck scarf and chew toy, and for Fluffy’s cat portrait, bring her favourite cushion or sponge mouse.
Of course, none of this is compulsory. Your idea of the perfect pet photograph might be a simplistic black and white, with no props or objects in sight. This is completely fine, we suit the session around your needs, and your pets’ whims!
You might think your pet is too chaotic or unruly to bring for a photoshoot… don’t worry. We’re vastly experienced with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and with pets in general, and with over an hour booked out for you, there’s plenty of time for your pet to get acclimatised to the new surroundings and feel comfortable.

‘Wow, you photograph dogs too?’ is something we hear all of the time. Indeed we do, each year, a large percentage of everything we photograph is families, couples, or individuals bringing their dogs with them. And, you know what… we absolutely love it!
Many people who wouldn’t normally consider coming for a photoshoot jump at the chance when their favourite four-legged can take part too!
Dogs are also extremely comfortable in the studio environment too. In comparison to outdoor photoshoots, it gives us the ultimate control to capture the perfect lighting and compositions without unwanted weather restrictions or distractions. Our team has a huge range of diverse and creative abilities that enable us to produce something truly stunning and personal for you.
The truth is, when photographed professionally and tastefully, these images easily become a piece of art to treasure for years to come.

Our studio is located in the centre of Shipley, which is conveniently located within easy road connectivity to all surrounding towns and areas. We are also less than a five minute walk from Shipley strain station, directly connected to both the Skipton to Leeds and Bradford lines. We have clients that travel to us from throughout Yorkshire and the UK.
