Since cameras were invented, parents have wanted portraits of their kids. After all, it’s where memories are created.

Being with our families, looking back through our photographs from days gone by, and reminiscing, smiling, and laughing together can be a thoroughly precious time.

At times though, getting a portrait of your child can be easier said than done…

Those forced smiles and screwed up faces that appear on our childrens faces when asked to ‘say cheese’ are more than likely not the look you are after to display above your sofa!

When you visit us, we take the time to get to know you as a family and most importantly, use our experience to work out quickly how to get the best out of your children.

Depending on their age, sometimes this might involve acting quickly to capture their personalities before they get tired, at other times it could be working slowly and subtly to encourage their confidence to grow in the studio environment. We work hard to get the very best out of them, as our images show!

Every child is unique and we want every photograph to be unique.

We love taking images that show personality, spirit, and soul.

If your child has a passion for music, dance, sport, dressing up, games, dinosaurs… Then we’d love you to bring these items along to the shoot, you wouldn’t believe some of the shots we can create!

A few days before your session with us, we will call you to talk through ideas for your shoot. We want to understand what you might be looking to achieve along with offering you supportive advice on clothes and personal items.

Of course, if nothing springs to mind or ‘props’ aren’t your thing, that’s absolutely fine!  We will concentrate on creating something pure and timeless; so whatever you are looking to achieve we will capture something that you’ll love and treasure for years to come!
