VIEWING SALES & BOOKINGS ADVISOR

 

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our well established team with this brand new role which involves a combination of selling framed wall portraits in our purpose built viewing room and making bookings over the phone. This role is ideal for someone who is well presented, a confident communicator (both face to face and over the phone) and is excellent at describing things, upselling and articulating ideas and concepts.

Potentially great hours to fit around family… 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 4pm-9:30pm and Saturdays 9am-6pm (Total 19.5 hours per week)

Our continued growth has now created an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our well established team with this brand new role for a fantastic ‘people person’ who is an excellent communicator both over the phone and face to face.

 

The Primary Part of the Role…

Working closely with our photography team, you will be helping the customer decide the right product and framed wall art to suit their home, style and individual budget. This is done through a Viewing appointment which is a slideshow followed by a personal presentation and product overview, during a face to face pre-booked appointment with the customer and yourself. Every viewing is as different as every customer and home décor is, so this is a very interesting role, requiring excellent people skills, along with basic maths and good negotiating ability. In a nutshell this is quality face to face personalised sales, with a bit of interior décor recommendations thrown in – that’s how we’d accurately describe it!

The Secondary part of the role…

When not in viewings (as described above) the other aspect of this unique role will be assisting our bookings team; speaking to predominantly families over the phone (both outbound and incoming calls to both existing, new and potential new customers). The purpose of most calls is to make ‘bookings’ in our diary, of course, but there is much more to it than that… as this job is quality over quantity. You will be giving families advice on what to expect from their ‘Family’, ‘Couple’ or ‘Pets’ Photoshoot experience with us – covering everything from the best time to book their shoot with us to suit their family, through to what to wear and ideas to personalise their session. You may be suggesting things such as sentimental props or accessories to show off their personality, hobbies or interests. Additionally, you will be explaining special offers and giving an idea of pricing and product expectations to prepare the customer, before they attend their shoot with us.

 

Full extensive training will be given for the successful candidate do we are more interested in your potential than anything else. However, to succeed you’ll need to be able to tick most of the boxes below…

The ideal candidate:-

  • Has past experience in a customer service or sales environment
  • Is able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Is confident with an excellent clear voice and friendly telephone manner
  • Possesses a highly positive and enthusiastic personality
  • Is well presented
  • Has good positive persuasion / negotiation skills
  • Has good IT and admin skills
  • Has an interest in creative industries, such as interior design / photography
